So I’m going to try and wrap up the Market posts today. There’s just so much to show. It’s hard to pick and choose. It really boils down to favorites. I’ll show you more of my favorites! Keep in mind that this is a “Quilts and Soft Craft” show. Meaning not everything is quilts. If it’s made with fabric ……
Serendipity Studio always has a lovely booth.
Crabapple Hill always has an incredible booth. I love stitchery but don’t seem to be able to sit still long enough to stitch! I’m working on that. Lord knows I have enough patterns to keep me busy for awhile!
Bunnyhill Designs is so sweet. Anne’s new fabric line with Moda Fabrics incorporates gray with the lovely pastels she uses. I love gray with pastels so of course I was drawn to her booth. So soft and lovely.
Curby's Closet new to Quilt Market and the pattern industry. The baby shoes are to die for!! People were nuts for these precious little treasures! If you are local we will be making these in the Studio!
Cotton Way and Thimble Blossoms are a mother daughter team that design fabrics for Moda. They each have their own pattern line. I really like their fresh clean look. Their last line “Bliss” was one of my all time favorites!
Wooden Spool Designs owner Debbie Busby is one of my favorite people to see at Market! She’s a friend and designer of another one of those types of projects that I can’t sit still long enough to stitch! Wool projects of all shapes and sizes. Her projects are fabulous!
She introduced this new Block of the Month at market. Sooo cute! I’d have to do mine on a light background but I think it would be so adorable. That’s the thing with these projects. You can make them your style by playing with the color.
as you can see the wool projects make such fun seasonal accents. OK….I’ve gotta sit still long enough to make some of these sweeties! I love seasonal decorating.
Debbie wasn’t at the booth when I stopped by to take pictures :-( or she’d be in them!
Every once in awhile a quilt just jumps out and GRABS me! The one below did just that. My living room is reds and golds and this beauty would fit right in.
The beauty of cameras is….. just take a picture of the details and you’ve got all the info you need.
So below is the fabulous quilt and followed by all the info. So simple! if you feel the urge to order a kit like I’ll be doing…. all the info’s there.
At market there are awards given for best single booth and best double booth. Here’s some shots of the winners. So deserving. They were great. I wish my photography did them justice.
First place single booth ~ Crazy Old Ladies ~ Beachy and fabulous! Love those red adirondack chairs!
First place double booth ~ Sandi Henderson Designs ~ Pretty Home Dec and clothing.
Last but not least Don't Look Now. This is from a pattern designer in Australia. So AMAZING! The quilts are raw edge applique with very tight quilting in the background. So impressive!!
Have you made it this far?? Thanks for hanging in there. In the end you’d be amazed at how fast it all comes down!
Our both before….. and 1 hour later! Two days to go up. An hour to come down.
I hope you enjoyed joining me at Quilt Market. The contest will end Sunday at 12:00 am. so get your comments in! I’ll draw for the winner on Monday so tune it to see if you’ve won! I have one more (much shorter) fun post about market coming very soon!
Thanks for visiting ~ Terri
